About Us

Founded in 2016 by production designer and owner Miha Knific, Utopia Film has evolved into a creative powerhouse based in Medvode, Slovenia. Our headquarters feature a dynamic workspace, including a sculpting laboratory, woodworking and metal workshops, a special prop-building station, and a printing room equipped with 3D printers. Over the years, we’ve expanded to include three prop fundus houses across Slovenia, offering unparalleled resources for art direction and production design.

Utopia collective

Our team is a collective of passionate experts, including art directors, costume designers, special prop builders, carpenters, sculptors, graphic designers, interior designers, dressers, and prop buyers. Each member is dedicated to their craft, ensuring every project is brought to life with creativity and precision.
